Can I submit Prescription Eyeglasses and Prescription Contacts claims from online shops?

Canadian or American websites that sell prescription glasses or contacts are eligible for vision claims. ClearlyContacts.ca is an example of an eligible provider.

Websites that only dispense eye wear but do not sell prescription eye wear, such as Sunglass Hut, are not eligible.

When you submit your claim, your receipt must provide all the information that we require from an in-person optical provider such as your name, the purchase date, purchase details, and it must show that the expense has been paid in full.
