What does it mean if my claim wasn’t paid because the provider is not recognized?

We work with providerConnect® who collects and stores core information about health service providers across Canada through a national provider database called the Provider Registry. This includes information such as: name, license or registration number, provider type, and billing status. 

Reimbursement for services occur when the service is a benefit of the plan and the practitioner rendering the service is licensed by their provincial regulatory agency or they are a registered member of a professional association that is recognized by providerConnect®.
