Match with a counsellor using a direct code

If you already have a counsellor who works with Counselling by GreenShield Health, you can continue your counselling with them through our platform by asking them to provide you with a direct matching code.

Instructions for the mobile app

1. On the Care screen, navigate to Mental Health, and then to Counselling.

2. On the Counselling Overview screen, navigate to the Services section, select the service for which you would like to find a counsellor, and select Match with a Counsellor.

3. On the Choose your path screen, select Browse Counsellors.

4. On the Personal details screen, verify that your personal information is accurate and update it as needed. Then, select Next.

5. On the counsellor directory, select Enter Direct Code at the top of the screen.

6. Enter the direct matching code provided by your counsellor, then select Find Counsellor.

7. Review your counsellor's information and select Match with Counsellor.

Your mental health counsellor will now appear on the Counselling Overview screen and on the Services screen.

Instructions for the web app

1. On the navigation bar, select Care services, then select Mental Health and Counselling.

2. On the Counselling dashboard, navigate to the Services section, select the service for which you would like to find a counsellor, then select Match with a counsellor.

3. On the Choose your path screen, select Browse Counsellors.

4. On the Personal details screen, verify that your personal information is accurate and update it as needed. Then, select Next.

5. On the counsellor directory, select Do you have a direct matching code? at the top of the screen.

6. Enter the direct matching code provided by the counsellor, then select Find Counsellor.

7. Review your counsellor's information and select Match with Counsellor.

Your mental health counsellor will now appear on the Counselling dashboard in the Services section.
